CONTEXT
The issue is to question the place of on-board technology during a hike, to imagine new stories, new possibilities.

ANSWER
The wish to set off free, without collapsing under the weight of a backpack. Hiking free and light.L’HAUTonome is a backpack in two stages. It’s the backpack I take with me, but becomes the backpack I leave in the forest, getting rid of its full weight, only taking what’s necessary for one day.Hauled up onto a branch, out of reach, the bag is the relay, the place where the hike starts, and the only landmark.

PARTNERSHIP

+ - With the help of a rope, two rings a weight and a blocking bulley, the bag is hauled up onto a branch, out of reach. Only the backpacker can access back to his stuff.

+ - A backpack in two stages. The slings come off and and turn out to be a little bag wich clings around the hips. Free from the backpack weight, shoulders light, she only takes what’s necessary for one day.

+ - A completely free-minded hiking. The only information the backpacker has is the position of the backpack in nature.
